Description
The webinar will feature Radim Lang, guest speaker from ENERKOM Podlipansko – a region-wide energy initiative that operates across 57 municipalities in Central Bohemia. The project supports energy self-sufficiency by combining renewable energy deployment, improved energy efficiency, and advanced energy management systems. A central aspect of the project is the coordination of energy data across municipalities within ENERKOM’s own independent data platform. This modular platform will coordinate energy data and enable more effective governance across municipalities.
The project addresses challenges such as limited municipal capacity and the complexity of coordinating energy initiatives across several local authorities. By fostering cooperation and building scalable solutions, ENERKOM supports stronger regional resilience and more inclusive energy governance.
ENERKOM is one of many projects to benefit from the first round of CEAH's Technical Assistance. A short presentation will also feature from David Blažek, the CEAH expert who assisted ENERKOM, who will give concrete examples of the assistance he provided.
The Citizen Energy Breakfast webinars are a series of short and informal sessions that spotlight real-world experiences and lessons from energy initiatives across Europe. Each session features a guest speaker, a fresh topic and region, and plenty of opportunities for audience participation and discussion.
Sessions are open to members of the Citizen Energy Network - a free, growing community for sharing knowledge, networking, and collaborating on citizen-focused energy solutions. Anyone interested can join the network!
