Description
EURegionsWeek 2026 brings together policymakers, regional and local authorities, and EU institutions to exchange ideas and share experience on how cohesion policy can help every region succeed.
The event opens on 12 October with a ceremony in the European Parliament hemicycle and continues through 14 October with high-level sessions, partner workshops, and networking activities at the Jacques Delors Building and other Brussels venues. A "Close to you" programme also allows organisations across Europe to host local sessions between 12 October and 20 December.
The 2026 edition features a range of session formats including policy debates, 90-minute workshops, and 30-minute EURegionsTalk presentations. The programme also includes the REGIOSTARS Awards, the Megalizzi-Niedzielski Prize for young journalists, and dedicated programmes for Young Elected Politicians and EU Local Councillors.
Partner and Regional Partnership sessions are open to applications through a selection process coordinated by the organisers.
