European Week of Regions and Cities

The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is the biggest annual Brussels-based event dedicated to cohesion policy. This year edition of the #EURegionsWeek (EWRC) will take place from 7-10 October 2024.

Under the motto Empowering communities, the event will focus on four themes:
• Competitiveness and convergence: two sides of the same coin
• Regions strengthening European Democracy
• Smart and sustainable growth for regions
• Regions got talent

Practical Details

The European Week of Regions and Cities is an annual four-day event during which cities and regions showcase their capacity to create growth and jobs, implement the European Union Cohesion Policy, and prove the importance of the local and regional level for good European governance.

The event has become a neutral platform to discuss common challenges for Europe’s regions and cities by bringing together a diverse community of speakers and participants.
