Pilots: ZuidtrAnt gains two new solar roofs

Solar panels on grey roof

The CLR pilot ZuidtrAnt and its cooperators have gained two more solar roofs!

In May 2024, they launched their largest capital appeal to date. Members could invest no more than 670,000 euros in the cooperative, as this is the total cost of the two newest solar roofs. In December of that year, they won the last share, and then, of course, it was time for action. The facility in Mortsel was built immediately, where 252 panels have been catching the sun for several months now.

The pilot learned to deal with challenges at the second location in Brasschaat. After a few months of delay, they were able to inaugurate their largest solar roof so far in May. No fewer than 1500 panels catch the sun on the roof of the Artillery Battalion of Defence.
