We are excited to announce the selection of six Pilots for Phase II of the Citizen-led renovation (CLR) initiative. Among the selected pilots is the Wohnungseigentümergemeinschaft der Liegenschaft 1020 Wien Ybbsstraße 6, a forward-thinking owner corporation dedicated to transforming residential buildings through sustainable energy solutions.

The project aims to renovate a residential complex consisting of 31 apartments. The planned interventions include comprehensive renovation work and the installation of photovoltaic (PV) panels. By participating in the support service for Citizen-led renovation, the owner corporation seeks assistance in forming an energy community and managing various aspects such as communication, invoicing/procurement, legal considerations, and more.

The project has a projected budget of €591,000 for upgrading the heating systems and an additional €830,887 for insulation. These investments are crucial for enhancing the energy efficiency and sustainability of the residential buildings.

Through their involvement in the CLR programme, the Wohnungseigentümergemeinschaft der Liegenschaft 1020 Wien Ybbsstraße 6 aims to harness the benefits of community-driven energy solutions, improving the quality of living for their residents while contributing to broader environmental goals.

We look forward to supporting and witnessing the progress of this pilot project, along with others, as we collectively strive to advance citizen-led renovations across Europe. Stay tuned for more updates on these transformative initiatives.
