The Scalable Cities Expert Team prepared a small study on “Tackling Barriers to Citizen Engagement in European Cities”.  The expert team, consisting of Ritva Salminiitty, Wolfgang Loibl and Hyekyung Imottesjo, has set up this study in order to collect your observations, opinions and ideas on how to cope with weak citizen engagement.

Your survey contribution and those from colleagues working in other European-funded smart city projects will allow us to identify the most important barriers and the most appropriate solutions to enhance citizen engagement. You can access the survey via this link. Please provide your contributions until 31 May 2025
