As part of ongoing efforts to support citizen-led renovation initiatives, the Support Service for Citizen-Led Renovation recently organised a dedicated workshop with the Belgian pilot project, ZuidtrAnt. The session, held on 6 December 2024, focused on mapping the customer journey for home renovation and identifying key strengths and weaknesses in the current process. By visualising these insights on an impact/effort matrix, participants could pinpoint the most critical areas for optimisation, ensuring that future improvements align with both feasibility and impact.

Later in December, another workshop provided a platform for discussing the challenges and opportunities for ZuidtrAnt in 2025. The Support service participated in the session to strengthen collaboration and explore how they can better support renovation efforts. The discussion also included a presentation on how different homeowner personas can be integrated into the vision for Zuidtrant, helping to create more tailored and effective engagement strategies.

These workshops mark an important step in improving the citizen-led renovation experience, ensuring the process becomes more efficient, accessible, and impactful for all stakeholders involved.
