We are excited to announce the selection of six Pilots for Phase II of the Citizen-led renovation (CLR) initiative. Among the selected pilots are the Italian Comunità Energetica Rinnovabile of Postua and Comunità Energetica Rinnovabile of Guardabosone linked directly to the municipalities of Postua and Guardabosone.

The Renewable Energy Community (REC) of Postua and Guardabosone, both from the Piedmont region in Italy, is forming to improve energy efficiency (EE) in 15 residential buildings, including 5 families experiencing energy poverty.

These renovations are expected to save 30% in energy. They plan to use the CLR framework to gain knowledge about creating a local ecosystem, legal and technical aspects in Italy, monitoring and impact evaluation, communication campaigns, collective procurement, and designing a sustainable business model.

The projected investment is €1 million, covering EE measures, renovations, technical assistance, communication, and renewable energy initiatives.

Stay tuned for more updates on the progress of these pilot projects and how they contribute to advancing citizen-led renovations across Europe.
