On 21 June, IEECP hosted a workshop for the board members and the Phase I pilots on the topic of "How to Engage Citizens in Energy Communities."
The workshop helped participants learn more about how to engage neighbors in energy community activities and different ways to involve fellow citizens. It also focused on engagement strategies targeting different generations. Participants were provided with various actionable tools, methods, and techniques, which are now available on the CLR website. Under resources, users can access a Toolbox to assist with their engagement activities.
The next activity of the board will be held on-site in Portugal between 8 and 9 October. During this event, participants will have the chance to attend a workshop on financing opportunities, engage with Phase II initiatives, and learn more first-hand from the Phase I pilot, Coopernico, located in Lisbon.
