Unveiling the Unique Needs and Challenges of Energent's Audience

Energent has outlined communication objectives aimed at encouraging wider adoption of energy-efficient measures among citizens. One of their key goals is to emphasize the benefits of energy-efficient renovations, making these solutions more appealing and accessible. Additionally, Energent seeks to broaden its services and reach more households. To achieve this, the cooperative plans to launch communication initiatives targeting diverse audiences, thereby raising awareness of their services and expanding the impact.

In pursuit of their communication objectives, Energent is dedicated to implement targeted communication strategies in alignment with its mission. The energy cooperative establishes itself as a reliable one-stop destination, offering more than just logistical and technical convenience. It serves as a support system, ensuring a seamless renovation process from beginning to end.

In order to prioritize Energent's mission in communication efforts and to establish a more personal communication strategy, the initial step was to gain insight into the distinct needs and challenges of its diverse audience.

This journey began in October when the support service delved into the profiles of Energent’s clients. The analysis was initiated using a questionnaire that allowed Energent’s advisors to share firsthand information. Alongside basics such as age and demographics, a thorough investigation was carried out to address specific questions, such as: What challenges are Energent’s clients encountering? Drawing from this analysis, the support service generated multiple target audience groups, shaping them into distinct personas.

Expanding on this, Think Europe organized a workshop with Energent's advisors. Together, they developed customer journeys for every target audience. Based on that, the support service is fully prepared to start updating the current communication strategy.
