Non-accessible content

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of the ‘Citizen-led renovation’ website, we are aware of some limitations, which we are working to fix. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions.

Please contact us if you encounter an issue not listed below.

  • Documents: Some of our current PDF files are not yet fully accessible for users with vision impairments or those who navigate primarily by keyboard. We are prioritising accessibility updates for new and recently revised documents, while older files will be improved as resources permit.
  • Heading Hierarchy: A number of headings do not follow the correct hierarchical order, which may affect the experience of screen reader users.
  • Links and buttons: Certain links and buttons are missing clear labels or contain empty references. We are actively enhancing the accessibility of these interactive elements across the site.
  • Graphs and charts – use of colour: Some graphs and charts rely solely on colour to convey information, which can be challenging for users with colour vision deficiencies. In cases where labels are not visually linked to their corresponding coloured sections, selecting items in the legend will toggle the related line, bar, or segment on or off. This helps users identify which label corresponds to each part of the chart.
  • Audio description: Videos on this website currently do not include audio description.
